| In order to encourage scientific creative activity among students and perpetuate the names of outstanding naturalists of the St. Petersburg (Leningrad) State University, BFN of SPNS has established scholarships for students of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Sciences of the St. Petersburg State University:
Personal scholarships are awarded to students in their last year of studies towards the Master degree who do research in zoological and botanical disciplines, given that the results of their work are or can be applied in nature conservation practices.
